The ASG SIG 1911 Spartan air pistol is a one to one replica of the Sig Sauer 1911 Spartan 45 Cal. center-fire pistol. This ASG replica air pistol is a great tactical trainer and plinker for beginners and experts alike. This full-metal air pistol keeps the weight and controls of the Sig Sauer's center-fire model and includes blowback action for a realistic feel.
The Spartan's 16 round BB capacity keeps you reloading less than you would with the “real steel”, making it a great trainer pistol. Launch BBs downrange at speeds up to 410 fps to spin cans and punch thru paper targets.
Incorporating the unique bronze finish of the original, this full-metal pistol displays a Spartan helmet on the grip with the Greek words uttered by the Spartan King Leonidas - “Molon Labe” (“Come and take them”) engraved on the slide and grip. The Spartan's distinctive features include a skeletonized hammer and trigger, as well as easy to see white-dot sights. A Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail readily accepts a flashlight or laser sight.

Great for Back Yard Practice

I have owned and shot many BB and pellet guns and in my opinion this is one of the best It has the size and full functionalities of a standard model 1911. The grip safety and the thumb safety work as on the real thing. The slide operates with each shot, locking back when the magazine is empty. The magazine is different from a 45acp as it holds BBs not cartridges but it inserts and removes the same as a 1911. Of course there is virtually no recoil. I think the magazine holds 16 BBs and I get about four mags worth before the power drops down. No BB gun is as accurate as a rifled barrel but this one is plenty accurate enough for me to practice almost silently in my back yard. One word of caution, this is not a toy as it is quite powerful and you should not shoot BBs at a hard surface as they will ricochet.

NICE FIT AND FINISH, OPERATES LIKE THE REAL THING . DISAPPOINTED THAT THE PISTOL DOES NOT SAY "SIG SAUER" ON
THE SLIDE LIKE IT DOES ON THE PHOTO ADVERTISEMENT . IT ONLY HAS "1911 " ON IT . VERY ACCURATE BUT ONLY AT UNDER
