REVIEW: ASG Dan Wesson 2.5" Revolver Air Pistol
Compact and stylish. This 2.5 Chrome revolver air pistol licensed by Dan Wesson, offers realistic shooting fun in a handy size. It has authentic markings and a individual serial number stamped into the frame. The revolver features a double action trigger system and adjustable rear sight for extra realism and accuracy. The Dan Wesson revolver is made of metal except for the ergonomic grip constructed in hard ABS plastic. The 12g CO2 cartridge is stored in the grip and is easily accessed by sliding the grip back easy-load style. Each of the 6 cartridges holds one 4.5mm BB and is placed in the metal cylinder that rotates as each round is fired. The revolver comes with speed-loader, attachable tactical rail and 6 cartridges.

I had to send it back...bummer.

I had to send this item back because it jammed continuously and the cartridges were very loose and jiggly. Bummer for me because I really liked it! Perhaps it was just this gun, but I didn't want to take a chance with a re-order so I chose another gun.

Nice feel and look but the hammer dose not work well has problems with miss fired some time I have to pull the trigger twice this is the second one I bought and the first works great so buyers beware

Most realistic BB gun I've ever had and seen. The handheld is not much likely to break and is strong plastic but does feel loose because the weight of the metal gun makes it feel kinda loose. But overall this is a really great gun to have. It's accurate and shoots great. I recommend it!

The original Dan Wesson revolver improved on the accuracy and service life of the traditional double action revolver design in a few ways. The tensioned barrel of the DW interchangeable barrel system enhances accuracy, pulling the barrel tight like a guitar string, enabling it to vibrate at the same frequency every time. The forward crane latch, located in front of the cylinder and paired with a rear ball detent helps to ensure proper cylinder/barrel alignment during firing. Superior to the rear locking designs of other revolvers, it adds to the accuracy.
While the tensioned barrel definitely improves accuracy above other revolvers, it's the consistent cylinder/barrel alignment that contributes most to the accuracy of the design.
Additionally, the clockwise-rotating cylinder reduces stress on the crane, since it turns in the same direction the crane locks, prolonging service life and keeping everything tight. The Dan Wesson revolver frame is robust, built to handle the heaviest of factory loads.
